Lupus Patient-Focused Drug Development (PFDD) Meeting

The Lupus and Allied Diseases Association, the Lupus Foundation of America and the Lupus Research Alliance have launched a ground-breaking initiative to improve and accelerate the development of new treatments for lupus. This is a tremendous opportunity for individuals with lupus to contribute to lupus drug development by sharing how lupus affects their daily lives and their thoughts on current and future lupus treatments.
The three organizations have partnered to hold an externally-led Lupus Patient-Focused Drug Development (PFDD) Meeting, Lupus: Patient Voices, on September 25, 2017 at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Hyattsville, MD, near Washington, DC.
The meeting provides FDA staff an excellent opportunity to hear patient viewpoints on lupus and will help inform the agency’s decisions during the drug development and review process.
The success of this mission highly depends on patient participation and as many people with lupus as possible are urged to complete a survey to gather input from a diverse patient population to inform the FDA and to drive the content of the meeting.  Please find a link to the survey by clicking here.
We kindly ask you to please encourage your patients with lupus to take the survey so their important story is included in this history-making project to improve lupus drug development.
