As part of your United Rheumatology membership, we can assist you with our payer contracting support service. United Rheumatology’s approach to contracting is strategically focused and customized to your practice and service area. We do not negotiate or interact with your payer(s); rather we review, analyze, and benchmark your data.

At your request, we can perform a confidential review of your practice’s contracts and fee schedules. All contract reviews are “firewalled” from other United Rheumatology members and are conducted in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

For an independent physician, reviewing contracts and fee schedules can be a daunting task. Our goal is to help you understand the business implications of your contracts and fee schedules.

Step 1: Contract Review

The first step of the engagement is a baseline review of your practice’s current payer contracts and fee schedules. We will help you identify which payers play a key role for your business and help you determine if your current reimbursement is competitive.

Step 2: Suggestions

We can provide you strategies to help maximize the data and business. We may also suggest actions based on your practice and equip you with the information you will need to execute successfully.
